There have been a lot of teams generating headlines through the first two days of free agency and we’ll be focusing on two of them during Thursday’s edition of PFT Live.
Tom Curran of CSN New England will join Mike Florio to talk about the major change to the Patriots’ receiving corps. Wes Welker is out after failing to get an offer he liked from the Patriots and Danny Amendola has taken his place with a contract that made it clear that will pay him more than Welker. We’ll hear from Curran whether there was ever a chance of Welker returning and what the next steps will be for the Patriots this offseason.
The Lions have also been busy and Dave Birkett of the Detroit Free Press will be on the show to talk about their moves. Running back Reggie Bush, safety Glover Quin and defensive lineman Jason Jones all signed up with the team on Wednesday — the Lions also re-signed cornerback Chris Houston — to help up the overall talent level in Detroit after a disappointing 2012 season. Birkett will tell us what the Lions plan now that they’ve landed that group.
You can watch it all live at noon ET.
