With the days and nights and rumors and stories becoming a blur during the start of free agency, it’s good to catch up. So here’s a look at what you might have missed yesterday:

The Bills paired Mario Williams up with his former college teammate.

Dolphins CB Sean Smith hasn’t generated much notice so far.

The Patriots made up for losing Wes Welker by throwing a pile of money at Danny Amendola.

Until they pull the trigger on a Darrelle Revis trade, the Jets seem to be doing bargain shopping.

With the Ravens sending more and more players out the door than in, some are wondering if chemistry issues led to Bernard Pollard’s release.

The Bengals watched some players leave, but Vontaze Burfict saw a nice check arrive in the mail.

The Browns lowered their sights after making a splash with Paul Kruger and Desmond Bryant, finding lower-priced contributors on offense and defense.

The Steelers brought hometown-boy Bruce Gradkowski back to improve their backup QB situation.

The Texans lost safety Glover Quin, but lined up Ed Reed for a visit as a possible replacement.

Signing LaRon Landry was the latest aggressive move for the Colts, who have signed half a depth chart this week.

The most significant thing the Jaguars did yesterday might have been sending a large contingent to watch Geno Smith throw.

The Titans brought in more line help, bringing Sammie Lee Hill to Tennessee.

Broncos bossman John Elway’s becoming a free agent closer, but he knows who’s really in charge.

After adding two quarterbacks on the first day of the league year, the Chiefs are trying to pawn Matt Cassel off on someone.

While far from household names, the Raiders made three capable additions to their defense.

The Chargers convinced Derek Cox to blow off a visit to the Saints.

The Cowboys still aren’t buying, as they’re still in the process of clearing out cap room.

The Giants moved on from K Lawrence Tynes rather than give him a big, long-term deal.

New Eagles DT Isaac Sopoaga vowed to “shock the world,” which his new team has done recently, actually.

The Redskins lost one of their own when they reduced their offer at the last minute.

If the Bears aren’t paying enough attention to Brian Urlacher, maybe a chat with the Vikings will make them notice.

The white limo treatment worked for the Lions, who landed RB Reggie Bush.

The Packers are still interested in RB Steven Jackson, but at a certain price.

In other divisional poaching news, the Vikings are bringing WR Greg Jennings in for a visit.

The Falcons have been quiet since hanging onto their own on day one.

Needing some degree of veteran presence in the secondary, the Panthers brought in CB Drayton Florence.

The Saints aren’t doing anything yet, but they are sniffing around the big names.

The Buccaneers did what the 49ers wouldn’t, pay S Dashon Goldson.

The Cardinals are buying in bulk, which may not be the worst idea.

The Rams might end up with Jake Long, but premature reports of an agreement came before he was finished with his physical.

The 49ers are in on the Nnamdi Asomugha chase.

The Seahawks found the pass-rusher they needed, getting DE Cliff Avril on the (relative) cheap.
