With as many new players as have been coming in, it was inevitable that the Colts shipped some out, too.

They’ve done that today, as the team announced they released safety Tom Zbikowski, via Mike Chappell of the Indianapolis Star.

He was one of coach Chuck Pagano’s first imports last year, as they brought him in from Baltimore to help spread the message. He started 11 games last season.

But after signing LaRon Landry Wednesday night, Zbikowski was expendable.
