Jaguars take Justin Forsett from the Texans

Justin Forsett will go from backing up Arian Foster to backing up Maurice Jones-Drew.

Forsett, a backup running back for the Texans last season, has agreed to terms with the Jaguars, according to John Oehser of Jaguars.com.

Last season Forsett carried 63 times for 374 yards (5.9 yards per carry) and one touchdown. That would have been 63 carries for 301 yards (4.8 yards a carry) and no touchdowns if Jim Schwartz knew the rules.

Forsett has also played for the Colts and Seahawks. His most productive season came in 2009 in Seattle, when he carried 114 times for 619 yards and four touchdowns and added 41 catches for 350 yards and another touchdown.

I keep reading about the Texans losing players. This isn’t good news.

Decent backup, should help the jags… Just hope Rick Smith has a plan for losing all these players… I find it hard to believe that supernaw and Gardner are it.. Now would be a good time to pull the trigger on the Ed reed deal Rick.

The Texans are really gonna miss him behind the enormous shadows of Foster and Tate.
