With safety LaRon Landry leaving the Jets, the Jets could be bringing in his big brother.

The Jets have expressed interest in Dawan Landry, according to Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News.

The older brother of LaRon, Dawan Landry recently was released by the Jaguars.  In New York, he’d be reunited with Rex Ryan, who served as defensive coordinator during Landry’s time in Baltimore.

With LaRon Landry and Yeremiah Bell both gone, the Jets are looking for two starting safeties.

  1. They may be looking for a lot more soon, everyone is leaving there, and they have no money to spend.
What a circus they are. 5 QB’s on roster too, that’s a few too many.

  2. Why is everyone still saying the Jets don’t have any money to spend. They $15M under the cap a day or two ago, and have been signing, cheap, quality players since, Goodson, Garay, Colon. None of them are being overpaid like all the players that have left the Jets, Greene, Keller, Landry, DeVeito.

  3. laron and dawan? man, thank god their parents had athletic genes because creativity is certainly not a strong suit in the landry household.

In the spirit of “being informed”, we can give you some sympathetic tolerance for your ignorance.
The Jets have made three sensible signings in the last 48 hours. Yes, many FAs left, some Jets were released, but “everyone” is a bit extreme.
But if it keeps you remained as an uninformed troll, have at it.
The readers here will see who the clown really is!

  5. How is anybody better off signing with silver and black? They haven’t been in the Playoffs since Hawaii became a state.
