Because rather than going out and spending on free agents, the Packers invest in and keep their draft picks. Not to mention all the effort that goes to scouting players rather than going for name recognition. It seems to work pretty well, I might add.

Or, he’ll REALLY bulk up and play LT.

Those are the three big needs for the Packers. He’ll provide depth and special teams help but that’s about it. He’s been with the team 3 years and hasn’t cracked the starting line up for a reason.

Solid role player but typical Packers move; invest in your players and don’t overspend on another team’s ‘trash’.
