It will take Brady most of 2013 to recover from his broken heart and the thinner wallet because he gave $$$ to help the team . I don’t see much production this year and it would be wise for N.E. to draft a top running back to carry the load. Tommy is spent,Woodhead gone,Lloyd ? and of course the final blow …Welker is gone to their chief rival the Broncos !

Lloyd has been worthless since we drafted him in SF years ago. One of the most frustrating players you’ll ever watch.

He will make 3 of the top 5 catches in the league each month – yet continue to miss the wide open easy plays, wont go over the middle, and always seems more interested in his appearance than being an NFL receiver.

There needs to be some element of chemistry from last year. Welker is already gone. Toss out Lloyd and i bet Brady throws to his tight ends for the first 8 games. Training camp isn’t enough to build a dynamic passing offense. Even if you have the best qb in the game. Heck, soon as one ball is dropped he will just stoP throwing to anyone wearIng a WR number

Lloyd had a decent year by the numbers. It was just frustrating to see he and Brady not on the same page for large chunks. Also watching him hit the turf after each catch was frustrating. Damn nice grabs tho…he’s worth keeping provided they get a legit we to go opposite who’s more physical and not ascared …

Roster bonus is negotiated by the agent for at least 2 benefits to the player. 1st: It serves as a guarantee in case the player plays poorly. Even if the player is cut during training camp, he’s already scored $3 mil of his $4.9 mil salary.

2nd: It forces the team to cut the player early while the free agent market is still active and teams have not filled all their roster spots. Otherwise, if the team had planned to cut the player, they would delay until the start of the season in case of injuries and owe the player nothing.
