much of the talk superbowl week was how the ravens fans pretty much took over new orleans. also there is a strong ravens fan presence at every away game including games at pittsburgh. i know its hard to believe that people root for teams other than the steelers but its true. so for all of ravens nation…go ravens!

Give Steeler nation a break.
Steelers nation can only be so extended for 2 reasons:
A. They have a lot of bandwagon fans; i.e. those fans live in a city that loses regularly so they jumped ship – in other words, they’re spineless.
B. They are all originals that fled that nasty city for a better life for them and their families.

Ravens will dominate the AFC north in 2013 – as usual

What’s funny is the Steeler Nation extends world wide, while the Ravens nation doesn’t go 20 miles past Baltimore. Nobody outside of Baltimore cares if the Ravens win another Super Bowl or not. They signed a quarterback but lost their identity and any hope of repeating with all of the defections. Pittsburgh is down too, but I’m willing to bet they make it back before the Ravens.

That just means a lot more of you got to watch your team go 8-8 while your hated rivals are the Super Bowl Champs. Really? Nobody likes us? Oh No! LOL Ravens fans could care less who likes us. Yes we signed a QB but lost our identity? NFL is a business with a salary cap. Ravens can not afford to overpay for all their free agents. Im sure you know this. Odds of probability would suggest that the Ravens will not repeat. Thats no surprise. Thanks Nostrodamus. Balt. will remain competitive and yes, your Steelers are down after being 8-8. Ravens may be down but at least they are the Champs.

thanks for the support mlbbal…lots of steeler fans think the nfl only began when the steelers started to win superbowls…they are a funny bunch. and the poster who ridicules in ozzie we trust…he has been gm for 2 superbowl teams 4 afc championship teams and 9 playoff teams in 17 years and has also drafted 3 sure fire hall of famers and countless pro bowlers. any one who knows football knows he is one of if not the top gm in the league. so yeah…in ozzie we trust. go ravens

There are alot of little teenage or immature fans on this site. Flacco sucks and doesn’t deserve that contract. You will never see another Superbowl.Your team is gutted and casn’t compete anymore.And the best one from a jealous Pats fan……Double standards, they’re a joke.

He’s not staying in Baltimore! Been a long time coming.yes it’s true Baltimore did win the superbowl and I don’t want to take anything away from them. No matter how you win, you won… But the team was a mess all year. If you read between the lines on every interview that was given by any raven side the flacco deal, they all think he was over paid. Strong arm, great deep ball thrower,TEAM got hot at right time, but he was the only one to benefit with a HUGE payday… So in Ozzie you guys trust? Will good luck with that…

Roethlisberger only throws backbreaking interceptions…Polamalu is washed up…the rest of the defense is older than the incline in Pittsburgh. No Harrison. Fat Albert Woodley is eating 10 hamburgers as we speak. Heath’s knee is totally destroyed. And Dick Lebeau spends more time in the nursing home than he does coaching any more.

Good franchises (like the Ravens) tend to get rid of players when thery’re time is at a near end” or if someone wants to over-pay in free agency. This works cause great teams (like the Ravens) almost always find cheaper people to replace them many times in that same offseason weather through the draft or cheaply through free agency.

Bad franchises like the Browns, Raiders or Doplphins (to name a few) draft bad and give out big money to guys who play better within a particular system and expect them to be pro bowlers and it hardly ever works out.

Ed may have a season or two left in him it would be nice to see him retire with the team that drafted him. #20 is one of the best ever!

Reed, threatens the Ravens with retirement every year. So this isn’t shocking. Oz told him to test the market to determine his value, just like with Ray. Reed should retire a Raven. However, he is at the end of his career on the decline at 35 years old. That being said, Ozzie will not give Reed the “big money” contract he’s looking for. If it comes down to “big money” Reed will wear another uniform. Just like, Ray, Ed is a Baltimore legend.
