this is exactly why minnesota cut antoine winfield rather than let him play out the last year of his contract. when you have namdi and revis being thrown about in trade rumors and discussions leading up to free agency, and then it hits, and the market is literally flooded with CBs, and the younger (read: more valuable) are getting crappy offers like this, it’s easy to understand why other teams aren’t writing huge checks for these guys.

Not excited….Just shocked….As a Kansas City Chiefs fan. I was surprised to see the Chiefs hired Andy Reid as head coach. After all those reports said he was going to Arizona to coach the Cardinals.

Also just so you know…Kansas City Chiefs ticket sales have tripled over the past 2 years. So that at least tells you that some Kansas City Chiefs fans are excited to see what this team can do.

Why not be excited…Look what the Colts did in 2011 and then look what they did in 2012

Maybe the Kansas City Chiefs can do the same thing

We Kansas City Chiefs fans support our team even if its a down season…and we Chiefs fans support Clark Hunt for the hires of John Dorsey and Andy Reid.

If Sean Smith represents the ‘top of the cornerback market’, then all remaining CB’s available must be awful. Ask any Dolphin fan and they’ll tell you Smith is average at best. No picks, lots of completions surrendered and too many TDs against him.

the chiefs fans getting excited over all these moves are amusing. they may be winning the off season super bowl but that is it. wait til the games start. and wait til andy reid starts losing gms because he fails to adjust & has poor clock management during the gm and then has brutally incommunicative — with the same stupid cliches — post-gm press conferences.

Who the heck cares how much money Sean Smith got from the Kansas City Chiefs.

We Kansas City Chiefs fans are shocked that the Kansas City Chiefs was that active in the free agent market.

Over the past years. the Kansas city Chiefs was never that active in the free agent market…It took them a week and a half after free agency started to even pick up there 1st free agent.

This year. Kansas City jumped on guys that they wanted to be on this team and they actually opened the check book to actually get those players.

You have to give a big prop for Clark Hunt to do that.

The Chiefs are showing all other franchises how to go from worst to first, and then to multiple championships.

John Dorsey and Andy Reid are geniuses. Andy finally has the opportunity to work with a GM as football intelligent as himself. He finally has a class organization that works with him, and he finally has class fans that actually understand the game.

Mr. Dorsey and Mr. Hunt are showing everyone how to build a dynasty team and win titles LEGITIMATELY.

love to hear this – NFL were big winner in latest CBA…from rookie pay to free agency. NFL payscale was heading in direction of MLB&NBA. now the QB pay will adjust IMO over next 4-6 yrs.
