Comments on: Bucs trying to trade LeGarrette Blount

So. Any misconceptions about Blount. First…he did NOT fumble a buch of times in preseason…he barely played.

Second, Blount IS a pass catcher as well. He’s had almost no drops when given opportunities.

Third…he is NOT giving the Bucs a headache…he is actually a great teammate and has not gotten in trouble.

Forth…the Bucs did NOT hire someone to wake him up…that is a myth perpetrated by an unnamed source without the balls to put his name behind the statement.

Doug Martin got the start because of his draft position and he was more fine-tuned than Blount. Personally, I hope no one wants him because he is the perfect guy to step in if Martin is injured.

He is easily worth a 3rd rounder. Maybe even a second…because whoever gets him will end up with a 1200-1400 yard rusher…provided Goodell doesn’t get his way.

As a Raven fan I’d love to see this guy in pittsburgh. Big Ben has his hands full trying to not get killed on every pass play, so if they added one of the worst blocking backs in the NFL it would please me greatly.

Nobody watches preseason football, I guess. Blount fumbled a bunch of times, which gave Doug Martin the crease he needed to crack the starting lineup and TB never looked back.

Who would you play? Slumping, slow-footed fumbler, or guy who put up 200+ yards Week 1?

I can see Blount in Denver, but they like playing their homegrown 3rd-stringers too much to give up anything in trade for a back. A run game would sure help prop Peyton’s window open though wouldn’t it?

The guy wasn’t done that bad in Tampa as a Buc fan, wish Sully could’ve incorporated him more in the offense last year. It probably didn’t happen because of Doug Martin & his liability in the pass protection, either way a weapon is a weapon & this guy is a weapon!!!! If we could get anything for him it’ll be great because it’s not like we’re using him & we got him for nothing! Some say he doesn’t have great hands but I believe it was the way he was using him I mean I don’t think the guy is a Marshall Faulk but I think if you give him a shot he can serviceable with screens & safety valves in the passing game! As a Buc fan let’s get something for him because we can use it on corner back help asap!!!!!!!!

If Blount would hit the hole like a man I swear he would be the best back in the league. He tip toes through it to much. He’s still a good RB, Steelers seem like a perfect fit.

Trust me when I say Rodgers along with any Packer fan like myself could imagine him in Green Bay. Any stinking RB worth a damn. This dog and pony-less show is wearing thin and the Packers would be much more tough to prepare for with an actual running game. That said, not sure the O-line in Green Bay can run block, no matter who is behind Rodgers.

I have a hunch Ahmad Bradshaw is wearing Green ‘n Gold before the end of the week though.

I actually think Blount’s a decent back, if one dimensional, but I’m not sure why a team would give up a pick for him. At the risk of severely undervaluing him, I feel like instead of giving another team a late round pick I’d rather just take a shot on a running back of my own who, if nothing else, doesn’t have three seasons of NFL mileage on him.

I like this physical runner who is able to leap over would be tacklers too. Not so sure Jerry Jones is in any position to deal but with him not bringing back felix Jones, getting Blount would be a good pick up.
