I’ve seen every game he has played in his career and can unequivically say that he SUCKS! Horrible in coverage,poor angles,and shoddy tackleing are all part of his game.Go back and look at his youtube hilights from college-he never wraps anyone up and he only got worse in the NFL.This past season when he moved to CB he got a little better as the season progressed but was burned consistantly by QB’S and WR’S alike.If any team signs him as a safety they will be getting a player that will do much more harm than good for their defense.

I would rather the Packers sign one of these offensive linemen still on the market, like Vollmer or even Smith at the right price. Address safety and running back in the draft.

Radrntn, the only reason Huff is mentioned as an option for the Titans is because of Bud Adams hardon for players from Texas.

I think that’ll lead him to Tennessee, Bud can’t resist Rose Bowl Longhorns.

why would anyone show interest in him? complete bust in Oakland..Raiders defense has been horrible for 11 years and he was a huge part of that for 7 years

The Bengals don’t even value safeties. They’re too stupid to even acknowledge it should be an official defensive position. Coach Giggles wants at least 4 CB’s on the field at all times, sometimes 6. They’ve got way more cap space than they admit to (as usual) and they are treading water in a desperate attempt to cling to their new found mediocrity. This while teams with much less cap space are trying to actually improve themselves. Mark it down, if Kenny Vaccaro is still there at #21 the Bungholes will pass on him.

Michael Huff SHOULD be drawing interest from several teams. Those who’ve observed his career thus far know this – he’s a quality football player when you use him to his strengths. And just as importantly, a quality individual that any team will be lucky to have.

Michael Huff is one of those players that was always there. As a matter of fact I was kind of surprised that he had been with The Raiders for seven years.

I honestly do not recall off the top of my head any true impact plays that he has made.

JJ needs to fix the Romo and Spencer cap situations so they can actually improve the team. Safety is a huge concern,and Huff would be a huge move, even if not flashy. Church and Johnson (projected starting Safeties) have a combined 7 NFL starts. Not too much confidence there.

Huff was always a jack-of-all-trades DB for the Raiders who never got the INT stats that he’s capable of thanks, thanks mostly in part to the anemic pass rushing situation during most of his time there. The Raiders 2ndary was so woeful last season that he basically had be a starter at CB for like 14 weeks.

In his rookie season, the Raiders stared him at SS and you rarely heard the opposing TEs name called during those games.

Huff to the Ravens would represent another smart move by Ozzie Newsome.

As much as Huff would fill a significant need for the Ravens, I don’t see how they’d be able to afford both him and Dumervil. I suppose Huff would make more logical sense since the Ravens could likely have as many as three ILBs to choose from at #32 next month.

another guy from a team that everybody said had no talent, and no players, but yet all of them seem to be signing big money deals. Funny how when you are on the raiders you suck, and the second you sign with your team, they are next best thing since sliced bread.
