Getty ImagesAs Eagles receiver Jeremy Maclin enters the final year of his rookie contract, some have speculated that the Eagles are trying to trade him.
They aren’t, according to Geoff Mosher of CSNPhilly.com.
Then again, that doesn’t mean the Eagles wouldn’t make a move, if they could. Indeed, Mosher writes that the Eagles aren’t “actively” shopping Maclin. Which means that they’ll listen, if someone calls.
It’s unclear whether anyone was called. Per Mosher, there are “no indications” that Maclin is the receiver about whom Colts owner Jim Irsay recently was hinting via Twitter.

Any team would be lucky to have him, including THE Eagles.
Maclin is in my Top 10 list of Irsay WR targets!
Zero Superbowls. Come to Redskins Park to feel excellence anytime.
Mr. Andy Reid is open to a possible trade.
#4 overall pick ,Maclin, and the 2nd round, and 2014 2nd round pick for Brandon Albert, and #1 overall pick
umm maclins not washed up so there far we can’t rip off the redskins.. sorry buddy maybe 10 years from now u can have him
Good, I’d like to see him in coach Kelly’s offense. Plus I do not think he has any trade value anyway, heading into the last year of his rookie deal. These knotheads who dream up goofy trade scenarios are without clue, the NFL isn’t a fantasy league with your buddies.
I wish they were.he’s used so poorly in Philly
Hey logicalvoice, maybe if fedex field wasn’t a sloppy mess he’d wanna go to your team
I doubt Maclin is being shopped actively or inactively. If he were, I wouldn’t necessarily be terribly disappointed.
Don’t get me wrong, Maclin has the talent to be an excellent NFL WR. He’s not elite, and won’t ever be. That’s more because the freakish abilities of players like Megatron, Julio Jones, and AJ Green are not common. Still, Maclin can be a play maker.
That said, if you’re not among the elite, you can’t afford to do crap like this:

Maclin avoided contact throughout 2012. That was one of the more egregious examples.
id rather them shop djax. jmac is the best all around wide out we have. y would they do that
Come home to St Louis. We’ve been waiting…
logicalvoicesays how do you feel about ur qb having no knees?
Jeremy “self-tackling” Maclin.
Word on the street in Philly is that it’s djax that is being shopped. Not maclin.
A non story. Who else isn’t being shopped?
why would they trade Jackson? he’s got the size (or lack there of) and speed that fits perfectly with C.K.s and Shurmurs schemes
Forget trying to trade Maclin & start trying to get DJax outta here. Grossly overpaid for a one-dimensional, non-contact diva whose football career always takes second place to his wannabe “rap mogul” career.
Jeremy “self-tackling” Maclin.

Ugh… You’re doing it wrong.
It’s “Self tacklin’ Jeremy Maclin.”
I’ve been a huge Maclin fan since the Raiders handed him to us by taking Heyward-Bey #7. But Reid completely misused him. The dude easily has the ability to put up 80-1000-8, but they never seem to call his number. They’d rather repeatedly throw deep into triple coverage looking for Jackson. When used correctly the Eagles wideouts can be extremely dangerous playmakers, hopefully Chip figures this out. Andy never did.
J-Mac – come to Kansas City and reunite with Chase Daniel! #Mizzou
Logicalvoice isn’t thinking very logically.
I hear Logicalvoicesays got a Redskin trampstamp
I hear Logicalvoicesays got a Redskin trampstamp
lol for when he goes back to prison
i was hoping Maclin was who Irsay was talking about, with the right usage and QB throwing to him, he could be a mid star type of WR
Maclin is an integral part of Chip Kellys 11 headed monster world domination tour 2013.
We will dominate. Haters will hate. And theres simply nothing you can do about it.
really this wr won’t make the 5 spot or the team of your NFC EAST DIVISION CHAMPION REDSKINS 2012.!!!!!!!
A lot of Eagles fans seem to think he’s soft (but they think everyone is soft except Brian Dawkins), but I really think he’s good and I hope he stays.

Dumb & Dumber.
Come to the PACKERS PLEASE…….
Maclin is a good player who just needs a consistent thrower.
The Raiders aren’t shopping Darren McFragile, either. Just so you know.
Wait, how come Andy Reid got another job?
Of all the awful players failadelphia has Maclin is one of the few that has talent, might as well trade Shady McCoy too.

and then eagles fans wonder they are the constant target of ridicule. didn’t you say the same thing the last 2 years? I guess if you say it enough the sun will eventually shine on your pathetic arse.

Seriously ahole put on your big boy pants and grow up. You bring nothing to the table and are an embarrassment to fans of the Skins. Troll loser.
For the record, Maclin had not yet turned four years old the last time the Redskins won a Super Bowl.

You forgot peytonsneck18!
Time for the Skins to get a new field. Injuring your own QB. STUPID.
A fantastic person but, is he really what they thought he would be.? Remember he was a first round pick.
