Everyone would agree that Bill Belichick is one of the best coaches in the NFL and Tom Brady is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. But Patriots owner Robert Kraft would go a lot further than that.

Kraft told Mike Florio on Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network that Belichick is the best coach in the history of the game, and Brady is the best quarterback in the history of the game. And Kraft said he feels privileged to own a team with those two men holding down the two most important jobs for the franchise.

“I don’t think there’s been one in the history of the NFL -- I think we’re privileged to have, probably, the finest coach and the finest quarterback, and we happen to have them at the same time,” Kraft said. “It’s going to be hard to win continuously without a good coach and a good quarterback. Next season, please God, will be our 20th season. And we’ve hired two coaches in that time -- two head coaches -- and we’ve had two quarterbacks start for our team in those 20 seasons.”

With Brady saying he wants to play until he’s 40 and Belichick showing no interest in trading his hoodies for golf clubs, Kraft may have his quarterback and his coach for another five years. Or more.
