Marshall got traded because they were tired of his bi-polar behavior. It has nothing to do with what he did on the field. As he showed this year when he has a competent QB dude was a beast. Defenses knew that he was going to get 15+ targets a game and he still dominated this year every week so to rip BMarsh that is just wrong. He has proven many times over if you have a QB that can throw him the ball he will the be the best WR ON THE FIELD. It was the QB that was starting which what was the main problem.

He had issues which had nothing to do with the game which have always caused problems with his career. And that’s the facts

Some of the comments here show a complete lack of what the Dolphins are doing. If anyone looks at the contracts, you will see almost all are backloaded. The Dolphins have 11 draft picks. There should be no monster cap hits in the future. These guys will be long gone before they see that backloaded money and replaced by some of these picks. Add in the fact that the Fins have made themselves competitive and can take best player available in the draft vs. taking need, you have a monster in the making. Haters will hate but along with the Heat, the Fins are on the correct path.

You should get your facts straight before commenting. As of right now Miami is $25 million UNDER the cap for 2014 not including how much they will carryover. Fear will force people to make uneducated comments. I guess if I were a Pats fan I would be scared too considering how much better Miami has gotten and how much worse the Pats are compared to prior years.

Dolphins are embarking on a very interesting strategy here. They are loading up on FA’s and overpaying. They are back loading all the contracts so their cap number are low this year, but explode in future years.

They need to challenge the Pats right away if they are going to get any traction at all for their stadium deal. The have a lot of good picks this year in a deep draft. My guess is that they are hoping to hit a home run in the draft this year, so they won’t be left with a bare cupboard when cap monster comes for payment.

It might work.

Once again, no consistency of vision for the idiots in charge. They get rid of Brandon Marshall, Vontae Davis and Reggie Bush because they are not good locker room presences, but they will look at guy like Osi and Chad Johnson. I believe Titus Young is in next for a visit. Hypocrites.

I would be very surprised if Osi signs anywhere soon. He has spent SO much time & energy declaring to the world how the Giants have never paid him what he’s worth. If they would only set him “free”, the other teams would trip over themselves in a race to sign him to a big money contract first. He is a one trick pony on the back end of his career. No team will offer him as much as he thinks he’s worth. It will take awhile for Osi’s ego to line up with the market reality. When a person has overvalued their contributions for so long, it’s a cold, hard shock to the system to find out what the world really thinks they are worth.
