I know Gabbert has struggled, but I would say he has more upside and potential than the guys left on the scrap heap. I think hopefully with the new coaching staff and going into his 3rd year Gabbert can at least make himself into a guy who can win games for us. Ill take a young guy with upside over the also ran scrubs begging for a shot.

I’m not a Tebow/Jags/Jets fan at all, but what he could bring to that organization would be a huge upgrade. Games might sell out, jersey sales would skyrocket, and you might win more games than you lose. Tebow’s by no stretch a great QB, but he will win you more games than Gabbert or Henne.

Henne is what we’ve seen–nothing much. What they may bring in will be either “a long way away” or “a body”.

My untrained and unsolicited advice for the Jaguars–Don’t waste a high draft pick on a QB. There isn’t a franchise one out there, from what I can see. Look for high upside, not a “safe” pick from a name school.

You’re going to lose this year in any event, so think in terms of 2014 and beyond.
