Looking at the list of ILBs in GB you have
Desmond Bishop
DJ Smith
Brad Jones
Robert Francois
Jamari Lattimore
Terrell Manning
AJ Hawk

Thats a long list of players for 2 starting positions and 2 backups. Although Lbers are a favored position for STs so theres a chance a couple more could stick just for that reason.

There is zero chance in my mind that AJ Hawk wins one of the starting jobs if there is a true competion to start at the position, zero. If he doesn’t start than how can you justify spending around 3 million for a backup/STs guy.
