After already meeting with the Pittsburgh Steelers late last week, linebacker Victor Butler has another visit set up with the New Orleans Saints.
According to Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com, Butler will visit the Saints Thursday.
Butler played the last four seasons with the Dallas Cowboys with the last two years under new Saints defensive coordinator Rob Ryan. Per Larry Holder of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the Saints were going to heavily pursue Butler if he left his Pittsburgh visit without a contract.
Butler served in a mostly reserve role for the Cowboys in his four seasons in Dallas. Butler has missed just one game in four season and has 11 sacks despite limited playing time. Last season, Butler recorded 25 tackles, three sacks, three passes defensed and two forced fumbles.
