Not sure this is going to make much sense, but here goes: Browns fans make me proud to be a football fan. You guys have hung in there for a long long time without a fraction of the complaining you hear from a lot of other teams, and I sincerely hope it pays off. When it does, it'll be all the sweeter.

Browns fans have been put through the emotional wringer for decades. The Fumble, the Drive, the Move, drafting Tim Couch #1 etc. Yet Browns fans continue to pack the stadium, and support the team each and every year with the hopes this will be the year they turn the corner. The tide is finally turning with a solid coaching staff, an improving roster, and an owner that is passionate about football. The browns will be a playoff team soon enough, and atop the AFC North. Then, the years of being the butt of jokes, and misery will be forgotten. The past pain will make the impending success even sweeter! Go Browns. PS. Spend the extra money on Milkbones, as opposed to the Wal Mart brand, they taste much better dipped in milk!!

You’re an idiot. The Browns are excellent fans but to call Redskins fans fair weather means you don’t know the definition.

The Skins have the longest consecutive sell-out streak of home games, even longer than Green Bay’s streak. And that streak endured only 3 playoff-qualifying seasons over the last 21 seasons, prior to last year. And that streak endured only 1 home playoff appearance since ’99 before last season.

Yeah Ben, I would expect a response like that from a Steelers fan. You people have no idea what a true (non fair weather fan) fan really feels or acts like. You probably started liking the Steelers after they won their last Super Bowl on your 9th birthday.

10-6 in '83 was the first season I enjoyed as a Steelers fan. I have a video of me meeting Louis Lipps and a signed photo of Bubby Brister. Fair weather and AFC North don't fit in the same sentence.

Less than 14 years is not nearly 2 decades.

Less than 14? the team moved before the 96' season, we're currently going into the 13' season. By my count that's 17 years, close enough to say "nearly"
