He should have been CUT, not talking restructuring. Cut him and bring him back at veteran’s minimum for depth, if anything.

Diehl is good to keep around as a “utility lineman”. He can play every position.
We all know he isn’t the best, but he is what he is.

Diehl is going to need those dollars for his DUI fines and lawyers. Plus paying off witnesses, prosecutors and judges don’t come cheap.

Diehl has been a great soldier but he is just done. Whenever he was out of the lineup the team ran the ball better. Locklear was a big improvement over Diehl.

Restructure Diehl? I didn’t realize he had such a sense of humor! He hasn’t played like a starting caliber lineman in several seasons now, he’s lucky to have a job. Take a fat paycut, Dave, and give it to someone who’s a difference maker.
