Texans defensive coordinator Wade Phillips believes S Ed Reed will “energize everybody.”

Colts NT Martin Tevaseu has signed his exclusive rights free agency (i.e., not a free agent at all) tender.

Let’s just face it. The Chargers are never going to get a new stadium. After 10 years of talk and threats to leave yet they still play in that P.O.S. stadium.

Washington CarJackers has a nice ring, plus it gets you the “auto” connection to Joe Gibbs. Or you could play up Shanahan’s rep with the title, Washington Bone Crackers. RGIII and Chris Clemons would both probably vote for Gophers. You could also go for the ultimate kick-in-the-junk, by becoming the DC Marylanders.

    How about the Washington Incompetents.
Oh wait, you mean for the football team, sorry I thought you wanted a name for Congress.
