PFT on NBC Sports Network: Connor Barwin

Bengals Texans Football AP

The Eagles will have several new faces on defense next season, one of whom joins the Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network crew on Wednesday evening.

Linebacker Connor Barwin will talk to Erik Kuselias about his decision to join up with the Eagles and his early impressions of new head coach Chip Kelly. With the Eagles moving to a 3-4 defense, Barwin will be one of the more experienced outside linebackers when the team starts sorting out its depth chart later in the offseason, something that could move him to the top of it if Trent Cole, Brandon Graham and others are slow to make the transition.

We’ll also continue our in-depth looks at draft prospects with Alabama running back Eddie Lacy. Mike Florio, Ross Tucker and Shaun King will discuss whether Lacy will join recent Tide alums Mark Ingram and Trent Richardson as first-round picks. They’ll also have all the latest from around the league as March draws toward its close.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

Lacy should be a 1st round pick based upon how he ran over Teo, especially if Teo is a 1st round pick.

I did not know Barwin signed with the Eagles. I think Houston will regret not keeping him.

I hope Eric ask him how it feels to Rob someone blind, and truly get away with it. I love his attitude, but his four year production didn’t warrant $36 mil. Two years in a row, Houston let’s a guy go, and pawns the contract on to another team. Sad thing, I love the Eagles and hope they can overcome.
