Lattimore plans to play in 2013

Marcus Lattimore AP

After running back Marcus Lattimore suffered a serious knee injury last October, doctors said he wouldn’t play football until 2014.

Lattimore isn’t that patient.

Already well ahead of schedule in his rehab, Lattimore plans to play in 2013.  And after listening to him talk about the situation during a Thursday visit to PFT Live, it’s impossible doubt him.

It’s even harder not to root for him.

Here’s your chance to get to know him better.

I’ll definitely roster him in fantasy football. He could be the next Alfred Morris out of no where guy.

It would be nice to see him in a Skins uniform. Whoever he plays for will have a good guy that will work hard. Good luck 21. HTTR!!

I would love for Green Bay to give him a chance. Regardless, I’ll root for him no matter what team he is on.

At first glance I thought you misspelled ‘Baltimore plans to play in 2013′

How can you not root for this guy?

49ers draft him, place him on IR for the year. Boom, Frank Gore’s successor!

Not smart. Get fully healed first and focus on 2014.

He is the poster boy for why you never, ever, ever, stay in school when you are forecasted to go in the first round.

You can always go back and get your degree. The money is there now.

He may want to play in 2013 but I’m predicting or at least hoping it’s more to the tune of how Lamichael James played in 2012 ;) the #21 would be a problem though at least until 2014. Unless somebody jumps early I see the Niners pulling a grab and stash in the 3rd

So this guy you are rooting for, but the RG3 stuff they need to calm down and get PR training…

    I smell double standard.

If he can get ahold of the same “magic potion” AP took during rehab, he’ll be more than ready for 2013!

  15. jgrange says: Mar 28, 2013 8:31 PM

Kinda hoping the Raiders can get him in the 4th but the Niners have 150 draft picks so they’re sure to grab him whenever they want.

I hope he makes a full recovery. Kid’s a really talented back and could make a big impact for a team when he’s 100%.

    IF he’s 100 percent….
