If Carson Palmer is indeed on his way out in Oakland, he reportedly has an idea of a couple places he would like to land.

Palmer is said to like Arizona and San Francisco as potential new destinations, Mike Garofolo of USA Today reported Friday.

The situation remains fluid, of course. Palmer isn’t yet on the market. And there’s the issue of whether either team would want to add Palmer to their roster. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported Friday that he’s hearing the Cards may not be the slam-dunk Palmer suitor many have speculated them to be.

In any event, Palmer’s tenure in Oakland looks about at its end. Garofolo reported that Palmer remains firm on his unwillingness to take a pay cut from the Raiders. And there is much chatter about the Raiders’ interest in Seattle’s Matt Flynn.

From Friday’s Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network, here’s a look at how the Raiders could proceed if they can finish a deal for Flynn.
