Bills gives themselves a Choice for another year

Tashard Choice AP

While the Buffalo Bills work on the big question of where to find a quarterback, they’re handling some of the smaller business as well.

According to the Buffalo News, Tashard Choice agreed to a new deal with the team Friday.

Choice, 28, played the last season and a half with the Bills after being claimed off waivers from Washington in November 2011. His contract ran out after last season.

The 28-year-old back has been a little-used spare part playing behind Fred Jackson and C.J. Spiller, with just 51 touches last year.

I hope the Bills fans are going to see Spiller as the starter.

The RB and OT situation are about the only thing all set for the Bills going into this year.

Spiller has to be the starter. Prior to catching the injury bug Fred Jackson played very well.. Awesome running and catching. He is definitely not the game breaker that CJ is though. He will be the starter!

Tashard Choice. Played for Dallas and Buffalo, went to Georgia Tech but started his college career at Oklahoma. His resume is extremely unimpressive thus far.

Solid #3 back on a running team. They will need all the RB’s they can get with their QB situation

There’s a reason he keeps getting cut; he’s a fumble machine.

dude , he has been cut by one team….
fumbles may be the truth, as i do not know… but lets not quantify him as constantly getting cut.. He is on his second team

I’m going to assume we are talking about Tashard…

I remember when Tashard was all the rage a few years ago in Dallas. Everyone wanted him to be the feature back instead of Marion or Felix Jones. He must’ve fell off. Big time.

Good guy, keeps his mouth shut, works hard, does his job. Glad he’s sticking around for insurance.

Good 3rd back. With Fred’s injury issues the Bills we need a good vet backup. Spiller proved he is the starter and good top 10 pick. Gailey was a tool
