The Chiefs have re-signed one linebacker and said goodbye to another.

Edgar Jones, a linebacker who signed with the Chiefs in 2012 after five seasons with the Ravens, has signed another contract to stay in Kansas City. And Andy Studebaker, a linebacker who has been with the Chiefs since 2008, has been released.

Studebaker played in all 16 games for the Chiefs last season, starting one game on defense but primarily playing on special teams. Jones was also primarily a special teams player last year, and he had a strong season, recovering two fumbles on special teams and returning one of them for a touchdown.
