Add another name to the list of free agents who’ll be visiting with the Giants on Tuesday.

In addition to running back Tim Hightower, quarterback Pat White, and defensive tackle Mike Patterson, the Giants we’re told also are taking a look at receiver Anthony Armstrong.

A three-year veteran, Armstrong bounced from the Redskins to the Dolphins to the Jaguars to the Cowboys in 2012, two seasons after starting 11 games for the Redskins.

As a rookie, he had 44 catches for 871 yards and three touchdowns. Since then, Armstrong has had 10 total catches for 115 yards and two touchdowns.

It’s unclear whether the Giants have a real interest in signing Armstrong, or whether they just needed a receiver to catch passes from Pat White.
