Hixon’s visit ends in Carolina without a contract

The Gettleman pipeline may not yet be delivering another former Giant to Carolina.

According to Joseph Person of the Charlotte Observer, receiver Domenik Hixon ended his visit to the Panthers without a contract.

The Raiders also have hosted Hixon, and the Browns reportedly have interest.  Person writes that a deal with the Panthers remains a possibility, and that the two sides will continue to negotiate.

  1. Why does anyone want to read about a backup player dumped by a second rate low class franchise like the Giants when they could read about the NFL leading Redskins and RG3?

  2. Maybe they could talk to Breasty next. It’s been awhile since I’ve heard his name. Hope he’s doing okay.

Is bob griffin still in a wheelchair? Will he ever be on the field again this decade?

  6. With the Giants, Hixson was second string to Hakeem Nicks who is a fairly decent receiver. He did pretty well when Nicks was out this past year. Hixson could come in as the 3rd best receiver for the Panthers behind Smith and Olson. Hope negotiations are successful.
