Chargers add Jarius Wynn

The Chargers have signed free agent defensive end Jarius Wynn to a one-year contract, the club said Wednesday.

Wynn (6-3, 285) appeared in seven games for the Titans in 2011, recording six tackles. He will again play in a 3-4 scheme, just like did with the Packers, with whom he played for 2009 through 2011.

Wynn’s best season came in 2011, when he notched 19 tackles and three sacks in 16 games (four starts) for Green Bay.

Wynn played collegiately at Georgia. He’s entering his fifth NFL season.

I see what Telesco is doing. Signing low risk guys with low salary that can have a huge upside. He can only do so much with the salary cap that AJ left him.

I guess that’s better than Jarius Luz.

He’s most useful as a pass rush interior D-lineman but he just doesn’t have the size needed.

Telesco is just plugging holes left by AJ (egomanic) Smith. If the Chargers can get one of the top 3 OT’s in the draft, then they have a shot at being competitive. If not, look for Denver and KC to get stronger, and Philip to be gone, never to see another playoff game. Thanks AJ for ruining Rivers career by trading/releasing all of the talent on a team that was once touted as having the best and deepest talent in the NFL.
