The Chargers have signed free agent defensive end Jarius Wynn to a one-year contract, the club said Wednesday.

Wynn (6-3, 285) appeared in seven games for the Titans in 2011, recording six tackles. He will again play in a 3-4 scheme, just like did with the Packers, with whom he played for 2009 through 2011.

Wynn’s best season came in 2011, when he notched 19 tackles and three sacks in 16 games (four starts) for Green Bay.

Wynn played collegiately at Georgia. He’s entering his fifth NFL season.
