The Eagles will host Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher on Wednesday night and will have Texas A&M tackle Luke Joeckel in for a visit next week, NFL Network’s Albert Breer reported.

The Eagles select No. 4 overall in Round One of the draft, which starts April 25.

Tackle doesn’t seem to be an overwhelming need for Philadelphia, but it’s understandable why the club would perform its due diligence on Fisher and Joeckel, two surefire first-rounders. The Eagles’ starting tackles, Jason Peters (left) and Todd Herremans (right) are 31 and 30 years old, respectively.

While Peters was a standout two seasons ago, he missed the entire 2012 campaign with an Achilles injury. However, he has reportedly indicated that he’s healthy. When in top form, Peters can be a very good player, but he will make close to $10 million in 2014, per Rotoworld figures. Herremans, a solid right tackle, can also play guard.

The Eagles will also host Oregon outside linebacker / defensive end Dion Jordan on Wednesday, Breer reported. Jordan played for new Eagles head coach Chip Kelly at Oregon.
