The big news of the day in the NFL is the Patriots signing restricted free agent wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders to an offer sheet.

The move leaves the Steelers with five days to decide whether to match the offer, which is for one year, or accept a third-round pick as compensation from New England. Ed Bouchette of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette will join the Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network crew to discuss both options and give us an idea about what the Steelers might wind up doing in regard to Sanders.

Erik Kuselias, Mike Florio, Ross Tucker and Shaun King will also discuss what the Packers and Texans need from this year’s draft. Former Chiefs General Manager Scott Pioli will also be on hand to share his thoughts about the Patriots’ play for Sanders and the final segment will be one decided by gathering input from PFT Planet about what you most want to hear about this afternoon.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

What’s there to talk about? They haven’t signed anyone, they’ve only gotten worse, they’re broke, and they’re fans are delusional to think they actually have a chance this year. This team will be lucky to finish ahead of the browns. Playoffs? Hahaha! That’s a laugh. We all know it, whether you choose to admit it or not is up to you. Cheers!

They can probably talk about how they are going to miss Charlie Batch beating the Ravens in Baltimore.

With Flacco eating up all their cap money, and the team now having to rely more on Average Joe’s skills, expect the Ravens to finish below the Steelers, Browns and Bengals the next few years.

    Enjoy!

We lost Burress our top wideout in 04, next year superbowl,

we lost holmes in 09, next year superbowl

going back we have lost thigpen, charles johnson, randle el,

    we are used to this,

seems Ravenator is over compensating for lack of trophies

The Ravens will miss Boldin way more than the Steelers will miss any of their WR’s. How many times did that guy bail out Flacco? Enjoy your gloating and trolling now because Joe’s contract will destroy that team more with each passing season.

I’m tired of everyone (Steelers fans included) saying how the team is doomed this year. The bottom line is that when you have a franchise QB – you’ll be there. As long as Ben stays healthy – the Steelers are playoff contenders.

Why would the steelers need to sign anybody. They can beat the ravens with there current roster even with 40 year old Charlie Batch(if needed)…The steelers do it best by rebuilding thru the draft. Always have and always will.

How are you going to draft players you can’t afford? You can’t even keep a RFA. It’s going to be an ugly year all around. Flacco is going to show you no mercy and Big Ben is going to continue the downward spiral that began ever since he let Green Bay walk all over him in SB XLV.
