At any rate, it doesn’t appear they’re signing the backup quarterback, after reports yesterday that they were.
According to Vic Tafur of the San Francisco Chronicle, the Raiders might sign him later, but won’t now.
Whether they sign another veteran to go with Matt Flynn and Terrelle Pryor remains to be seen.
