PFT on NBC Sports Network: Falcons, 49ers, Ravens draft needs

Jim Harbaugh, John Harbaugh AP

We’ve reached the end of another week and Pro Football Talk on the NBC Sports Network has reached the end of this year’s look at the draft needs for every NFL club.

Three of the last four teams standing at the end of last season are up for discussion on Friday. Erik Kuselias, Mike Florio, Shaun King and former Jaguars coach Mike Mularkey will break down what the Falcons and 49ers need to do in order to help their chances of winding up where the Ravens wound up in February.

The crew will also have all the latest news from around the league as we move even deeper into draft mode. The next couple of weeks are going to be heavy on talk about what teams are going to do and PFT will have it covered from every angle.

It all gets started at 5 p.m. ET on NBC Sports Network.

We all have draft needs. Mine is simple… it just requires some refrigeration and a mug.

Ravens fans, what will the first pick be? CB? Safety? O-line? Best avail?

    BPA
Allen, Ogletree, or Hopkins seem the most likely to me. Outside of trading back which is even more likely.

I guess Ravens fans don’t want to talk to the enemy about football. It’s OK, you can go on about your trolling now. :)

I assume you’re asking a serious question stillers. My guess would be best available in a non skilled position. They do need to address LT this way or signing big B Mack as a priority.

Who’s that classless looking guy on the left in that picture?

  6. youcallthatreporting says: Apr 12, 2013 6:17 PM

Definitely a mug inside that refrigeration until the mug is nice and frosty. Must be Friday!

Ravens gotta go safety or CB. They were down to 3rd and 4th string in the secondary last year and in the playoffs put it all on the offense to keep up.

The Ravens need more criminal lawyers.

  8. ravensfansc says: Apr 12, 2013 6:29 PM

I’m leaning towards safety, someone like Cyprien or Elam in the first round but it is best player available so if someone falls, we should pounce. For now, it looks like safety.

  9. lovefootball4life says: Apr 12, 2013 6:42 PM

Hey @thesteelers did you know that since 2000 the Steelers had 19 players arrested and the Ravens had 16 players arrested.

I wouldn’t say the Ravens need any more criminal lawyers than your mighty Steelers.

real ravens football talk? im in! ravens will stay true to their board as always. their biggest needs at this point are safety left tackle and wide receiver. if they are on the clock and have a bunch of players left that they like i could see them movin back a few spots for an extra pick. should be a fun draft

Lionsdraftguy, your coach is a pansy, as long as he’s in charge your team has no chance.

  12. morganstan100 says: Apr 13, 2013 7:24 AM

Ravens are going to kill it at the draft this year. While the Steelers will be panicking about blowing their biggest accomplishment all year (securing a no. 17 pick) on an overrated receiver (they have none left) Ozzie will sit back and work his usual magic. It’s already amazing how Ozzie has rebuilt the defense even stronger through FA — for less than what Cleveland paid for Paul Kruger! Can you believe it?!?!

Ah but the mighty steelers didn’t have a player take a plea in a murder case. Raven fans can never take the higher moral ground no matter who is writing the history books.

Nofoolnodrool, last i checked the steelers have a QB that goes around and rapes teenage girls. as soon as the lawsuit came in he was more than willing to pay up right away. enjoy that for your history books clown. also enjoy getting stomped again this year by us and the beagals.

poor nofool…its not just me. everyone is on to you my friend. your arguements have no basis. you are just a cheap name caller. oh well…thought you were better

No fool has only a hope a prayer and a batch regular season victory to hold onto this season. Leave him alone. It’s like a child looking for attention in timeout. Only this timeout is held in an adult day care facility.

  19. jacktheraven says: Apr 14, 2013 9:50 AM

True, Ravens lost to old man batch. Isn’t that just called an “upset”? They happen every week in the NFL.
Time to move on from that argument steeler fans.

  20. scoobies05 says: Apr 14, 2013 11:42 AM

its like the ss steeler hit an iceberg and the only thing he can hold on to is charlie batch. doesnt matter….that ship is sinking and its full steam ahead for the ravens

I think the Falcons will use their 1st to draft a Defensive End and trade up in the second to get a CornerBack
