ProFootballTalk: What positions do Ravens need to target?

This has been an offseason of change for the Super Bowl champion Baltimore Ravens. Ray Lewis retired. Ed Reed and Anquan Boldin are going to play for different teams next season. So it comes as no surprise that the three positions the Ravens need to focus on in this year’s draft are safety, inside linebacker and wide receiver. With Joe Flacco receiving the biggest contract in Ravens history, it seems like a good idea to try and replace Anquan Boldin.

Really really need a good slot receiver, and a left tackle.

Less than what the steelers need.

WR, Safties, OT, ILB, C, CB for depth.

Will be interesting. They aren’t desperate for anything so I’m gonna say Best available

It depends on the other 31 teams picking ahead. I would be happy with a SS, LT, or WR. I also wouldn’t mind one of the top three ILB’S (not named Teo), so, we’ll see? If Hopkins, or Ogletree or Slam are there, get em! This team is looking really good with the recent additions. It could be scary good” by the time Mr. Newsome & co finish the draft.

    A good quarterback.

Hey, crownofthehelmet, Bill Belichick just called. He says you’ve exceeded your daily screen time.

Crown wouldn’t know a SB winning, MVP QB if he fell over one.

Oh, that’s right. Joe Flacco WAS the Superbowl MVP. I was just thinking about him winning at least one playoff game in each of his first five years. I could be wrong but I don’t think any other QB has ever done that. Oh, and throwing 11 touchdowns with no interceptions in the post season. I think the only other QB to do that was Montana, who was elected to the Hall of Fame.

Can they draft a GM that won’t over pay a non-elite QB? That’s really what they need.

Thanks for the tip, classy jack. I’m sure the Ravens will follow your advice if they ever want to go 8-8.

So, they will want to follow it next year when they are wishing they finished at 8-8?

I love how the 2nd post goes right to Steeler talk with nothing to spur it.

The comparision of flacco to montana is hilarious.
