Nassib heading to Arizona tonight

The Cardinals claim they won’t be using their first-round pick on a quarterback.

But that doesn’t stop them from using their second-round pick on a quarterback.  Or from trading back into the bottom of round one.

Along those lines, the Cardinals are continuing their due diligence.  Per a source with knowledge of the situation, Syracuse quarterback Ryan Nassib arrives in Arizona on Monday night for a visit.  He’ll dine with a group that includes coach Bruce Arians, G.M. Steve Keim, and director of player personnel Jason Licht.

The visit will continue into Tuesday.  Last week, Nassib worked out for the Jaguars, Browns, and Bills.  By rule, Nassib’s visit to the Cardinals cannot include a workout.

Cards need to move on from this year’s QB class, focus their draft on the other roster spots and go for 1 next year. Let Carson get the snot knocked out of him this year!!!

He should just stay and wait for the draft in Syracuse, that way he only has to pack his car and drive up I-90 West 150 miles to Buffalo. We Bills fans have been waiting for a Franchise QB since Jim Kelly. Nassib is the answer.

“By rule, Nassib’s visit to the Cardinals cannot include a workout.”

    What rule is that, exactly?
