The Jets sent Calvin Pace packing as part of their spring salary cap cleaning. But now that he’s cheaper, he’s back.

According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Jets have agreed to bring Pace back on a one-year deal.

While the 32-year-old Pace has declined (he has 13 sacks the last three seasons), he’s a familiar part.

They should still be looking to draft more pass-rush help, but until they do, he gives them the benefit of a body to pencil into the lineup opposite Antwan Barnes. At this point, that’s all he is.
