Oh puleez. Jets GM Idzik is looking like the emperor in the children’s fairy tale, The Emperor’s New Clothes. Bucs could cut their offer in half and he’d have to take it if he wanted to move Revis this year – and if he doesn’t, he won’t get a sack of practice balls for him when he becomes a UFA after the 2013 season.

Ted Thompson allegedly wanted to draft Revis in ’07… But he probably can’t get involved thanks to screwing the pooch cap-wise.

I’d take a stab at the Packers as another possible guess. The sticky issue though is timing since they have Clay and that QB they need to extend soon, so if that happens in the immediate future then maybe they could pull off a Revis deal.

    Anyone else sick of Revis?

Jets actually receive a 3rd rd pick if they bring Revis back for his final contract year and then he leaves in 2014. Its a lot more than nothing.

hope he stays on the Jets!

“And now for something completely different” should have been a poll choice

Revis is a very overrated. A good player but not great. It’s fun to watch him trip over himself back pedaling while trying to cover Stevie. If Revis got worked with Fitz throwing SJ the ball, I can only imagine how bad he’ll look with a decent QB throwing to him. Idzik…please don’t trade Revis!!…..as a Bills fan, I’d much prefer you utilize an exorbitant amount of your cap space for a big headed corner.

He’d look great in a Toronto Argonauts uniform.

If u think Revis is overrated then Stevie (drop passes all day) Johnson is equal the a high school cheerleader. Revis overrated haha.

And plus next year Sanchez will be gone and all of our big contracts will have no big cap charges so next year we can afford Revis and some

Revis is the next Asomugha. He will be irrelevant in a year or two. This guy is not even close to a Deion Sanders and yet he gets hyped up like he is the next coming.

Bills fans are crazy johnson has had marginal games against him and you guys make like you won the lottery – you guys think you need nothing and have a talented player at every position but you are terrible every year – and Revis is a better pure cover corner that deion was – anyone that puts him down is just a jet hater that will say bad things about anyone on the team – Revis – best corner in the nfl and best defensive player in the nfl and may wind up being the best cover corner in nfl history – hate all you want but your wr will tell you the same thing

Non of you people have a clue still. Idzik is playing this thing like the conductor of a symphony.

    bigjoe2269:

    1. Stevie is the only receiver to have any kind of somewhat consistently solid numbers against him, so that’s something that we can get at least a little excited about

    2. You sound like you wanna start an argument about who is better the Jets or Bills. That’s like choosing between two kinds of stale moldy bread, does it even matter both choices suck

    3. Revis better than Deion? C’mon man

  17. thegreatgabbert says: Apr 17, 2013 1:25 AM

Don’t think it’s out of the question for Jax to poke their heads in there. A deal between the two teams swapping first round picks (with Revis going to the Jags) would work out about the same on the value chart as the #13 overall pick.

Jags have nothing to speak of at cornerback, and I don’t think there is anyone they like a lot at #2 overall. Jets might want to take one of the QBs or an OT there.

  18. bigjoe2269 says: Apr 17, 2013 2:25 AM

and all the jets haters still wanna talk about Revis not being worth a 1st round pick? he is worth much more than that as you are seeing unfold right in front of your eyes

You know you post these articles to stir up these “Big Bang Theory” fans.
    Works every time.

Half are unsure which team to root for this year.

You got to love it when Bill fans are bragging about Stevie Johnson’s “great” numbers against Revis. When over 7 games you are averaging roughly 4 catches for 40 yards and .5 touchdowns per game, you know you set the bar pretty low. But then again, this is coming from a fasn base who hasnt won anything this century. Oh wait, they couldnt have won anything this century, because they have yet to appear in the playoffs.
