Linebacker Kenny Onatolu appeared in just four games for the Carolina Panthers in 2012.

It’s the only games he’ll play for the franchise as the team released him on Tuesday.

After playing the first three years of his career with the Minnesota Vikings, Onatolu signed with the Panthers last offseason. He played in just four games before suffering a torn triceps and landing on injured reserve. The special teams stalwart and reserve linebacker recorded just five tackles and a safety for the Panthers before his season came to an end.
