Stay with us all day and night on Thursday

Top NFL Draft prospects stand on the marquee above Radio City Music Hall ahead of the 2013 NFL Draft in New York Reuters

In case you haven’t heard, the 2013 draft begins on Thursday.  And we’ll be covering it from every angle.

Non-stop blurbs regarding the latest news and rumors are a given, with all hands on deck for Thursday’s all-day rush of activity.  And we’ll complement the written content with a special edition of PFT Live (12:00 p.m. ET) from outside Radio City Music Hall in New York City, with Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith and West Virginia receiver Tavon Austin joining me in person.

Then, a special edition of Pro Football Talk on NBC Sports Network will air at 5:00 p.m. ET, with Erik Kuselias and Shaun King in Stamford, and yours truly in New York.

After that, we’ll get locked in for the draft, with instant analysis posted of every pick.  Meanwhile, I’ll be backstage at Radio City Music Hall doing revolving-door interviews with most of the new draft picks.  Those segments will show up, in bits and pieces, in various places over the coming days and weeks.

Through it all, we’ll heed your wishes and do nothing to tip any of the picks via Twitter or elsewhere.  After the Commissioner announces each pick, it will be posted at the PFT Twitter page.  Before then, we’ll let you enjoy the show.

So enjoy the show.  If you keep your computer open to PFT, you’ll enjoy it more.

There will be balloons and candies for the kids, and a special draw to win a year’s supply of 8 track cassettes.

I hope Chris Berman and the dudes at ESPN saw the PFT poll expressing the wishes of 85% of us for them to keep their traps closed about each pick so we learn them from the commish instead of from a talking head.
