Emmitt Smith says Cowboys should beef up their offensive line

Hall of Fame running back Emmitt Smith joined PFT Live from Sixth Avenue (literally) on Thursday, and one of our favorite PFT Live guests didn’t disappoint.

Smith, who is funny, loose, engaging, and informative as a guest on radio and TV, talked about a lot of things in a short amount of time.

Among other things, he talked about what the Cowboys should do with the 18th pick in the draft, one spot after the Cowboys took him 23 years ago.

The whole segment is worth a listen as you prepare for the start of the draft.

emmitt would know, having built a hall of fame career relying on the gaping holes provided by one of the best offensive lines of all time.

The Cowboys do need to improve their offensive line in the draft and they actually need a RB too. Be nice to get another Emmitt.

As far as that gout goes, Emmitt, take Allopurinol (prescription), eat lots of cherries and eat less red meat. It is a painful form of arthritis but managable.

Emmitt Smith is not good at anything related to radio, television, any broadcast medium or the spoken word in general.

  18. purplekoolaid1 says: Apr 25, 2013 7:50 PM

Why, is he tired of seeing Romo getting “blowed up” by opposing defenses?

Gout is so easily cured its pathetic that I’m going to be thumbed down for saying so.
