For the second straight year, Nike had an on-site hot jersey press at Radio City Music Hall, allowing jerseys to quickly be made for every player in attendance who was drafted.
As explained by Sam Farmer of the Los Angeles Times, the hot press has been put back in mothballs.
The players left in the green room will don the official hats but not the jerseys. Per Farmer, the league decided it would be awkward to give the players a jersey that didn’t bear the No. 1 that signifies being taken in round one.
No more awkward, however, than going the full first round without being picked.
