The Ravens can’t replace all the experience they lost this offseason when Ed Reed and Ray Lewis walked out the door, but they certainly got faster in the transition.
After drafting Florida safety Matt Elam last night, the Ravens came back with Kansas State linebacker Arthur Brown with the 56th overall pick tonight, trading up with Seattle to get him.
So a rangy, hard-hitting safety, and an undersized linebacker known for his football instincts.
Sounds familiar.
Coupled with moves for veteran linemen Chris Canty and Marcus Spears, outside linebacker Elvis Dumervil and safety Michael Huff, the Ravens will have a completely different cast of characters, but it’s reasonable to think they’re better.
