The Seahawks had a big draft class with 11 players joining a roster that was good enough to make it to the second round of the playoffs last year.

That doesn’t make for a lot of available roster spots, which means that the nine undrafted players that they signed face even longer odds than some of their brethren in other cities. They’ve got a shot, though, and the Seahawks have proven to be an organization willing to give anyone a shot to win playing time since Pete Carroll and John Schneider came to town.

Here’s the list of players that the Seahawks announced as new members of the team on Sunday: Wide receiver Matt Austin (Utah State), tackle Alvin Bailey (Arkansas), defensive end Kenneth Boatright (Southern Illinois), linebacker Ramon Buchanan (Miami), linebacker John Lotulelei (UNLV), safety Ray Polk (Colorado), guard Jordon Roussos (Bowling Green), running back Dominique Whaley (Oklahoma) and linebacker Craig Wilkins (Old Dominion).

Lotulelei (pictured) is not related to defensive tackle Star Lotulelei, who went 14th overall to the Panthers, but was UNLV’s defensive MVP in 2012. Bailey started 26 games at Arkansas and some graded him as a late-round pick, but he appears to have made the wrong decision by giving up a year of eligibility to go to the NFL.
