Like most successful teams, the Falcons don’t have a ton of open roster spots for the taking this offseason.

That means the 24 undrafted free agents signed by the team will have even more of an uphill battle ahead of them this offseason than some of their counterparts on other teams. They’ll get their first shot to impress the Atlanta coaching staff at the team’s rookie minicamp this week.

The two dozen men competing for jobs in Atlanta are: North Carolina kicker Casey Barth; Texas State linebacker Joplo Bartu; Maryland fullback Devonte Campbell; Boston College linebacker Nick Clancy; Texas Tech quarterback Seth Doege; Fresno State wide receiver Rashad Evans; Syracuse fullback Deon Goggins; Central Florida guard Theo Goins; Central Florida defensive end Cam Henderson; Ohio defensive tackle Neal Huynh; SMU wide receiver Darius Johnson; Alabama State tackle Terren Jones; Northern Illinois wide receiver Martel Moore; Indiana defensive tackle Adam Replogle; Georgia State running back Donald Russell; Appalachian State safety Troy Sanders; McNeese State tackle Alec Savoie; Valdosta State tackle Ryan Schraeder; Utah punter Sean Sellwood; Kentucky center Matt Smith; Colorado State cornerback Momo Thomas; Arkansas-Pine Bluff defensive end Brandon Thurmond; Arkansas running back Ronnie Wingo and Delaware linebacker Paul Worrilow.

Barth is the younger brother of Buccaneers kicker Connor Barth, but will have a tough time unseating Matt Bryant off another strong season for the Falcons kicker. Clancy (pictured making a hit at right) also has an NFC South connection after replacing Panthers linebacker Luke Kuechly as a starter at B.C. last season. He may have a better shot of making the team than Barth thanks to a fairly thin depth chart at linebacker for the Falcons.
