Paul Kruger’s brother among Browns undrafted free agents

Watch out Gronkowskis, the Krugers are right on your tail.

The Browns announced their list of undrafted free agent signings on Tuesday and it includes former Utah defensive end Dave Kruger. He’s the brother of linebacker Paul Kruger, the Browns’ big-ticket addition in free agency earlier this offseason. Another brother, defensive end Joe, was drafted by the Eagles in the seventh round on Saturday to make it a trio of Krugers bidding for jobs in the NFL.

There are 17 other undrafted rookies heading to the team’s minicamp next week. They are: Eastern Kentucky tackle Aaron Adams; Northern Illinois wide receiver Perez Ashford; Stephen F. Austin cornerback Josh Aubrey; Notre Dame center Braxston Cave; Youngstown State running back Jamaine Cook; Central Arkansas wide receiver Dominique Croom; Iowa wide receiver Keenan Davis; UTEP wide receiver Mike Edwards; Hawaii defensive end Paipai Falemalu; LSU tackle Chris Faulk; Florida International tackle Caylin Hauptmann; Eastern Michigan tight end Garrett Hoskins; Stephen F. Austin wide receiver Cordell Roberson; Illinois defensive end Justin Staples; Kansas State tight end Travis Tannahill; Delaware safety Ricky Tunstall and Temple tackle Martin Wallace.

I’m willing to bet one of the Kruger brothers will be easily making his way through the Steeler’s sieve of an O line, to pound Bloated Ben into the turf where he will spend most of the 2013 season.

It’s too bad he isn’t 20 years older with bad knees, or he would be a perfect fit in Pittsburgh.
