Two Jets personnel men headed to San Diego

Winter Storm Missouri AP

New Jets general manager John Idzik is continuing to reshape his front office, with two more personnel guys leaving after two were let go last week.

According to Seth Walder of the New York Daily News, assistant director of player personnel JoJo Wooden and area scout Kevin Kelly are leaving for jobs with the Chargers.

Kelly spent just one season with the Jets, but Wooden had been with the team since 1997.

Wooden had a year left on his contract, and his new job with the Chargers is termed a promotion.

Tough times, when leaving the Jets for the Bolts, considered a promotion

Leave it to the Chargers to hire two personnel men from the most dysfunctional team in the league, the NY Jets.

    My God man, SMH.

Trading front office types from one losing organization to another losing organization does not inspire any fan interest.
Maybe if the Chargers would get people from the Ravens or 49ers, things would get better.

Yep, that’ll do it. Who knows personnel better than the Jets?

I’m guessing the foot man has a season or less to show something.

Was Idzik the guy who decided to waste a draft pick on a mediocre QB in the 2nd round ??
THAT says a lot about Idzik
    Loser

Good to see some housecleaning. Now if Woody Johnson would just stop wearing ballcaps I’d be satisfied.

I think this site should be called Jets Football Talk. Enough about them, no one cares.

I wish I could lose my job and get a new one with a promotion in San Diego.

The part of the article that was left out was the two Jets personnel men have joined the Chargers to work concessions for their home games.

If they were the ones who were high on Sanchez, they should not be allowed anywhere near a football team!

Maybe they can find the chuggers a LT.

Because he’s a raiders fan. He’s gotta find something to do while learning how to set up tarps for raider home games.

Yeah, because LT is the only position needed to win a super bowl & that’s the only position the Chargers needed to fill. Look at the history of the last few super bowl champs, then look at their LTs.
