The Chiefs have signed rookie defensive back Sanders Commings, the club said on its official website Thursday.

A fifth-round pick from Georgia, the 6-foot, 216-pound Commings has gotten a look at safety early in his NFL career, a position where the Chiefs have Eric Berry and Kendrick Lewis as starters. He can also line up at cornerback, the position he primarily played at Georgia.

Commings, 23, notched 51 tackles and intercepted three passes in 2012, his senior at Georgia. He started 35 games in his final three seasons for the Bulldogs. Commings was timed at 4.41 seconds in the 40-yard dash at the NFL Scouting Combine.

Chefs = AFC West bottom feeders.

He’ll lose his roster spot to a walk on named Sandcastle.

elwaysmilehighdenver= You must be smoking some of that good legal herb to be thinking that. KC has had a very nice offseason and are going to be much better than the faiders and the super chokers, who are both going to suck ass. The Chiefs are going to contend for this division for years to come, while the donkeys are old as hell and have a rapidly closing window. You better hope and pray Peyton’s old ass doesn’t break.

Sdchefs………The Broncos have dominated your pathetic team in KC
for years. Just because you had the first pick in the draft doesn’t make you SB contenders. Your past dictates your future.
Wake up from that dream. You are on the clock for the 2014 draft bottom feeder.
You’re a jealous Manning hater because the Chefs still do not have a decent QB.

If it wasn’t for Terrell Davis, Elway couldn’t have won a Super Bowl at all. His arrogance running the broncos is ridiculous! What has he done? Signed Peyton and Wes Welker?? Wait, how did no one else see the potential in proven talent? Elway is a genius! Hahahahahahahaha. Terrell Davis is probly still carrying him.

The Chiefs will compete in that division this year. And, they definitely have a decent QB in Alex Smith.

Kansas City Chiefs leads Denver Broncos 56-50 all-time, Denver did win both games last yeaR and they split the year before, so what was that nonsense about Denver dominating for years?
