Rams tight end Lance Kendricks is sitting out Organized Team Activities with a knee injury.

Coach Jeff Fisher announced that Kendricks had been dealing with knee issues this offseason and ultimately a knee scope. Fisher said Kendricks is doing well, but he is not participating in OTAs as he rehabs.

A 2011 second-round draft pick, Kendricks played in all 16 games last season, starting 14, and had 42 catches for 519 yards and four touchdowns.

  1. in the past when the rams had no depth this would have been freaking me out but with jared cook on the team I say take your time lance get well and be ready for training camp

  2. ^^^ absolutely! You know it’s wild to think about cook in the slot and Kendrick’s, Givens, and bailey lining up with Tavon in the backfield with Stacy of Richardson?! They got fast on paper at least

  3. To me, Kendricks is one of the most underrated tight ends in the league. Could be bias, but when I watch him play I see a very good blocker with above average hands. Here’s hoping he has a great season for us this year, go Rams!

  4. Kendricks is quietly one of the best all around TE’s in the league already. He is a devastating blocker for only being 245 pounds. He can line up at TE, FB, Slot and even out wide in certain sets. He had 4 TD’s last year and I think he can improve upon that in 2013 with teams focusing on Cook, Givens, Austin and Quick.

The Rams 2 TE sets got will get real this year with Kendricks and Cook.
