PFT on NBCSN has a half-hour Memorial Day show

Dorsey AP

Today’s a holiday.  But since what we do isn’t really work, we can work and it will still be a holiday.

The non-work holiday work includes posting new content throughout the day here, and a truncated episode of Pro Football Talk will air on NBCSN at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Along with an interview of Chiefs G.M. John Dorsey, Erik Kuselias and yours truly will be talking about some big-picture stuff entering the 2013 season.  We’ll also preview the Mt. Rushmore series that launches next week.

And if you miss the show at 5:00 p.m. ET, you can watch it again at 5:30 p.m. ET.  Or you can watch it twice.

I’d like to Dorsey to tell us what his championship prospects are for this year and the future with Alex Smith and what his plan would be if Alex Smith doesn’t work out, as well as what are all of the QB dynamics in play here for short-term and long-term, and beyond the QB position, where does he see his team as being championship ready and where not?

I’d like to expose him for his weaknesses in his plans and evaluation methods is the point of the inquiries.

Plus, you should also have said maybe the 49ers because of Crabtree’s injury.

“Turn over EVERY rock” he says, hmm…

Then how did he end up with this QB group? I turned over every rock in my mock offseason for them and ended up with something much superior to this roster, especially at the QB position where I crush his plan. How did he turn over every rock, what’s wrong with my rock? I bet he didn’t think of my rock. You can’t turn over every rock if you forget to turn over many of the possible rocks which is hard to do if maybe you can’t even see all of the rocks?
