ProFootballTalk: Jones-Drew to meet with police

Jaguars RB Maurice Jones-Drew is scheduled to meet with police on regarding an incident at a bar in Florida. Jones-Drew reportedly broke a security guard’s jaw with a punch and then immediately left the bar. Mike Florio thinks MJD may avoid the battery charges, but could lose in a civil case.

    After missing most of the year with injury and then starting the preseason with this… Not a good start to your contract season. I heard the security guard he knocked out was a trained mma fighter. Not a good look for either I suppose.
