Patriots part ways with Tyronne Green, T.J. Moe

The Patriots released offensive lineman Tyronne Green and waived wide receiver T.J. Moe on Friday.

Green, 27, started 13 games at left guard for San Diego in 2012. The Patriots signed him earlier in May. Green (6-2, 316) has made 28 starts in four NFL seasons.

Moe signed with the Patriots as an undrafted free agent earlier this spring. According to Dave Matter of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Moe tore an Achilles tendon. According to the NFL’s official Friday transactions, Moe was waived with an “injured” designation.

With Green and Moe departing, the Patriots — per a count of their online roster — now have 88 players, two under the NFL limit of 90.

Too bd about TJ Moe. He had a great combine performance and it would have been interesting to see if his receiving skills matched. He seemed like a Wes Welker clone.

Says something about last year’s Chargers line that one of their starters couldn’t get to June before getting cut again.

I thought both would stick somehow. not even being sarcastic, C’mon Moe! that’s too bad.

get ready for the Pats to sign a DL like Ellis. I was surprised when I first heard Moe was cut so early but this makes sense. Red shirt year and come back next season .

Coming back from an Achilles is tough – especially for a guy like Moe who’s quickness and cutting is what could set him apart

Still, I hope some team gives him a look next year – he’s a smart player and if he’d been healthy would have most certainly landed on a practice squad with a chance to compete for the roster

You realize type 2 diabetes is self-inflicted don’t you?

Belichick has little tolerance for players who can’t stay conditioned

If they happen to develop Type 2 Diabetes as a result that’s not going to save them a roster spot

Maybe it would on some teams with coaches who care about fan trash talk, but then again, maybe that’s why most other teams don’t have the success of the Patriots

While that can be partially true, that’s not the whole story. You should educate yourself before making such statements. Just makes you look bad.

joesixpack. Why don’t you educate yourself about diabetes before you go flappin’ your gums about something you apparently know nothing about.
